I9100XXLQ5 I9100OXALQ5 and Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sadwich firmware build for Samsung Galaxy S2 (S II GT-I9100) recently leak and available for download. This is good to be true that the Samsung Galaxy S2 official ICS 4.0.4 will hit all users really soon. Some advance users already downloaded and tested the said firmware and they found out that its way faster than the previous official ICS 4.0.3 like the I9100XWLPD and I9100XWLPG.

In addition, now you can enjoy more out  of your Galaxy S2 like the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S III. If you're an advance user, you can try to upgrade but take note, this only a leaked version. Although, this is officially created by Samsung developer but isn't officially out yet in public.

Instructions For Flashing I9100XXLQ5 ICS 4.0.4. 
The firmware contains in multiple files. It is a full wipe, so make to back up all of important files stored from your phone.

Update: DO NOT FLASH THIS ROM if your device currently running in Custom ROM (DO Note use CWM and LQ5 Kernel). Bricks have been reported occurred after flashing. Read here..

Update Again: Do not use this leaked ROM instead use the official ICS 4.0.4 I9100XWLPM that just recently released.

* Download and Extract the firmware
GT-I9100_I9100XXLQ5_I9100OXALQ5
* Download Odin Flasher or multidownloader tool that works for the Galaxy S2 installing ICS stock ROM.

* Open the Odin
* Put your device in Recovery MODE (Home + Volume up + Power)
* Wipe Data/Factory reset
* Wipe Cache
* Take Out Your battery & put it back in
* Put your device into Download MODE (Home + Volume Down + Power)
* Click PDA and select I9100_CODE_I9100XXLQ5_CL753921_REV02_user_low_ship .tar.md5
* Click PHONE and select MODEM_I9100XXLQ5_REV_02_CL1165929.tar.md5
* Click CSC and select GT-I9100-MULTI-CSC-OXALQ5.tar.md5
* Then finally click START!

Instructions For Rooting ICS : this will work if Chainfire release an XLQ5 root kernel.
* Extract the Rooted Kernel
* Open the included Odin
* Put your device into Download MODE
* Click PDA and select CF-Root-SGS2_*-v5.3-CWM5.tar
* Then finally click START!
